Spring Trip: Niagara Falls May 1, 2008

The niagara falls is made up of 3 falls: Horseshoe falls, American falls and Bridal Veil. Upon arrival at the falls, we met up with the 3 girls for lunch at the casino. (photos are with them haha.. ). Went to the journey behind the falls and it was so amazing! Water gushing down by the gallons - volume of water that can fill one million bathtubs in 1 second. Got a express tour from kwan’s family friend all the way to niagara on the lake.. and we were desperately finding a way back via cab to the train station. Said goodbye to peishan (who should be in Singapore soon) and shuen + kwan who are probably enjoying themselves in toronto now.

The next morning, we went to hersey’s shop but didn’t get anything! ahha.. I think it is going to be difficult bringing things back, so I better limit the buying. Then, we walked across the rainbow bridge into the US. Cleared customs.. but we each had to pay 6 dollars.. still quite puzzled by why we had to pay. Walked for nearly 3 hours, saw rapids, luna island, terrapin point and even got the border patrol guard to take a picture for us haha.. Then went back to Canada for late lunch before meeting lyn and her friends!! I’ve not seen lyn for nearly 5 months and its cool that we met in canada

The rainbow came out tooooo!!!! isn’t that amazing.. and finally at night, went out to see the illumination of the falls.. the colours were really fantastic!

Time for bed @ Novotel toronto. Its been a long day and tmr its journey to ottawa for the tulip festival
